How I work

I started this for you —
and honestly, for me too.

Hey, I'm Christopher. I'm based in Princeton, NC and I started WebSmithsCS because I wanted to help small businesses around here actually get online — not just exist online, but grow. And I'll be honest: I was tired of my current job and wanted to see if I could build something of my own.

I started learning HTML in my off time — some of it on lunch breaks, some of it late at night. I built things, broke things, figured it out. I taught myself how web design, hosting, and SEO actually work — not from a bootcamp, but from doing it over and over until it stuck.

If you choose me, you get me. We'll work 1-on-1 — call, text, email, video call, whatever works for you. I'll do my best to nail a rough draft on the first try, and then we work together to hone it into exactly what you want. Like a Websmith.

You deal with one person

I take your call, write the code, answer your texts, and push the updates. There's nobody else involved. No account managers, no handoffs, no "let me check with the team."

Straight pricing, no surprises

I give you a number before I start. It doesn't move unless you ask for something different. No "base price plus add-ons" that balloon the invoice after the work is done.

I own the hardware

Your site runs on servers I own and manage — not AWS, not Google Cloud, not any platform that can change their terms and knock you offline. Private hardware means real independence.
